Not every question deserves an annotation. Alt+C puts one small control on the page with three inspection tools behind it. Nothing is captured, stored or exported while you use them. They only change what you can see.

What can you annotate with Rochel?
Which website annotation types does Rochel support?
Rochel supports changing text, removing text or elements, reporting bugs, requesting visual fixes and adding other implementation notes.
Can I annotate multiple pages at once?
Yes. Annotations remain linked to their original pages, while the sidebar lets you filter or select feedback across multiple pages before export.
Can one Rochel inbox contain multiple websites?
Yes. Each website is a source. Use the Source filter to switch between domains and supported local HTML files.
Can Rochel annotate localhost and local HTML files?
Yes. It supports loopback development sites and, after Chrome's one-time file-access permission, directly opened local HTML files. Local file paths are reduced to the filename before storage or export.
Can Rochel identify a React component or source file?
Sometimes, in supported local development setups. Rochel uses reliable development metadata when it exists and otherwise keeps the component or source field empty. It never guesses a file on a public website.
What context is kept with an annotation?
The rendered instance stays identifiable through concise page, selector, element, text, rectangle and viewport context. Reliable component or source hints are added only when available.
What can Rochel inspect on a page?
Three things, from one on-page control opened with Alt+C: X-ray outlines every element boundary without shifting the layout, the text inspector reports the computed type of whatever you hover, and rulers let you drag snapping guides in from the top or left edge. They are view-only tools and create no annotation.
